Mohit Babu

I am Mohit Babu, a student of Galvanizing Potential, and I have scored 99. 85 percentile in CAT 2021 with 99. 94 in VARC, 96 . 86 in DILR and 98.9 in QA . I am currently in the final year of my B.Tech degree from National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Ranchi. I know a lot of you reading this would be CAT aspirants yourself. A year ago, I too was on the same boat one and just like you, I was anxious too. The biggest question that I had was where to begin from and what to study? As an exam, CAT has a vast syllabus and an even more diverse range of things to study and questions to solve. And choosing the right course to follow seemed like a herculean task. Amid these confusions, I came to know about Galvanizing Potential and attended their scholarship test. The interaction with Gopaljee sir and Praveen sir immediately attracted me towards their prowess as educators and career shapers and I decided to get myself enrolled in the one year MBA coaching program. This was the inflection point in my downward facing CAT journey and the graph only went up ever since. The carefully strategized course and the efficient way of teaching it gave me a clear cut advantage in my CAT prep, the results of which became evident in my mock test scores. Be it the unorthodox and quick methods of solving quants and DILR questions in Gopaljee sir's classes or the new insights into reading comprehension passages and personality development sessions by Praveen sir, the pedagogy followed at Galvanizing Potential played a prime role in giving new dimensions to my MBA dream. I am really thankful to team GP for such a marvellous performance in CAT 2021 and hope that I'll always be a member of the GP family no matter where I go.

Rashi Priyam

Hello I am Rashi Priyam. Currently, I am a first year PGP student at IIM Rohtak. I started preparing for CAT'16 from June and had only six months in hand. Gopal Sir taught me quantitative aptitude and DI-LR. In the short span of time, sir made each and every topic very clear. We had a mix of engineering and non engineering graduates in our batch. But all the students understood the concepts, irrespective of their background. He covered all the possible questions from a chapter that can be asked so that it never happened that we faced on altogether new question type in mocks or the actual exam. Sections like number system and Algebra which were taught in a very simple manner. Sir took each doubt patiently and also mentored in the post CAT period. He would advise us regarding which colleges to apply and also help in mock interviews. I was so much benefited in a span of first six months. I would advise students to start their preparation atleast a year before. I would give the credit of my result to Gopal Sir. It was his attitude and motivation that I got 97 percentile in quants and later got a seat at IIM.

Pranjal Prasoon

I began my CAT'18 preparation without a clue about the exam and the nuances involved. I was studying in IIT Kanpur and the rigour of academics there also made it difficult to devote as much time to the preparation as I would have liked. It was during this time that I came into contact of Gopaljee Sir and Praveen Sharma Sir were constantly mentoring me regarding my CAT preparation. The inputs I received and the strategy they chalked out for me did indeed yield results on the exam day. With their help, I carefully analyzed my weak areas and worked consistently towards improving them. Being a typical IITian, QA appeared easy to me but my scores in VARC and LRDI have improved a lot and even in QA, I learnt to minimize my errors. I eventually scored 99.58 percentile in CAT'18 and a major part of the credit goes to the people at GP, who were always supportive and motivating. Post the CAT results, I was in another fix because I didn't know a thing about the AWT/PI round of IIMA and at this point too, GP came to my rescue and the inputs they provided helped me in tackling the AWT and ensured that the dreaded of PI of IIM Ahmedabad went rather smoothly. My preparation was holistic and was based around my strengths while trying to minimize the errors I could make in my relatively weak areas and this is something I again credit GP for. For the future aspirants, I would like to say that you need to realize and channel your potential, trust yourself and follow the advice of your mentors with dedication.
