Personal Interview

(2 panelists: 1male 1female)

Q1- You're doing engineering in Metallurgy. Have you done any projects?
A- Explained both mini and major projects.

Q2- Tell me something about uranium. What are its uses?
A- Told the atomic number, mass, mining regions. Explained its role in nuclear energy.

Q3- What are the ores of uranium and how is it extracted?
A- Couldn't recall the names, so, straight apologised and moved for next.

Q4- What are the impacts of Russia-Ukraine conflict on the metallurgical sector?
A- ( I was expecting that)Told issues in semiconductor manufacturing as Russia exports 40% palladium and ukraine exports 80% neon, disruption in coal supply in European steel plants driving the global cost of steel high.

Q5- So if neon is rare then why do we use it in neon lights and not sodium gas?
A- Started telling about the inert nature of neon but he wasn't satisfied. Kept telling no to everything I said.So, I said I'm sorry sir, I don't know much about this. I'll try to find it out after the interview.

Q6- Told me to compare between my hometown and the city where my college is located.
A- Discussed.

Q7- I mentioned about PPP model of city management so they asked why not give the management to a private company if they are good at it.
A- Talked about the concepts of capitalism and socialism. Supported socialism.

Q8- Any examples of PPP model?
A- Told about Maruti Suzuki.

Q9- What are your hobbies?
A- Discussed

Q10- Any recent books that you read?
A- ( I was anticipating that and was prepared) discussed.

Interview ended and toffee was offered 😊

PI lasted for about 20-25 mins.
